Great food and service

06/30/2007

This was my first visit and my first message posting. Upon reading some of the previous reviews I was a bit cautious however decided to give it a go. The Flat Iron steak was excellent and I am hard to please because I like mine very very rare. I often feel chefs are hesitant to believe that but this chef cooked it to perfection. The salad was fresh and delicious. Our waite person was very good, attentive without being intrusive. I will certainly return.

Pros: Great decor, pretty setting.

Excellent food, haven't been disappointed yet

My fiancée and I arrived for our second time to the restaurant and we loved the food just as much as we did before. We were a little apprehensive when we walked in because we overheard the hostess apologizing about their server to another couple. Our server, Eric [according to the name on my receipt, tall guy, looks like he's related to Nicholas Cage], did an excellent job (and we believe he was our server the first time we went as well). The flat iron steak I ordered was cooked just right and the accompanied spinach leaves were seasoned perfectly. I'm the type of person that usually ignores the typical restaurant "vegetable garnishes," but both times that I've come here, I've picked the plate clean, vegetables and all. It was just that good! My fiancée ordered a fish dinner (our server warned her of the possibility of bones, but there weren't any) and loved every bite.

Pros: Food, value, ambience (but leave the kids with a sitter)
